Job Description:

As a teamleader in UPS Healthcare, you organize and optimize the day-to-day operations such as processing, logistics, managing inbound, outbound, and customer service activities. You make sure processes are understood and followed, and orders are processed accurately. In this role it’s your responsibility to achieve the agreed performance, in line with compliance and safety regulations. You will report to the Operations Supervisor and will lead a team of 5-20 warehouse employees & Inventory controllers. In this role next to the responsibility for Operations, there is also a key Project Management and Driving Change part involved. Be part of implementing a new client and GMP processes to the Louis Pasteurweg facility in Roermond. Your actions are driven by the understanding that: “Quality Focused, Patient Driven“.

What do you do on an average day?

  • Every morning you start your workday with a Pre-work Communication Meeting;
  • Manage the service and performance levels for the operation and you monitor csts control system for warehousing;
  • Ongoing you will supervise the Leading Hands and Warehouse staff. This includes illness management, reviews, recruitment and people/talent development;
  • Make sure you reach the HC standard when it comes to audits (internal/external), updating work instructions, training of staffing;
  • You will be leading high-priority change management projects in the operation.

What do we expect of you?

  • Education: Preferably, BA in Logistics / Supply Chain;
  • Experience: For this position, we are looking for a team leader with experience (Relevant working experience of 2-3 years in a comparable role);
  • We are looking for a natural leader with strong communication skills. You are quality-minded, with a drive for accuracy. Taking shortcuts raises alarm bells for you, and drives you to coach and re-train your team on the importance of defined processes and quality;
  • It is important that you can lead your team with fun and stay stress resistant, even in challenging times. When you can combine this with good people skills, you can be the perfect fit;
  • Willingness to work in shifts -> for now the shift times are fro 06.00-15.00 and 14.00-23.00 (subject to change).
  • Fluent In English.
