The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Global Director of Infrastructure and Products, this job, under limited direction, is responsible for design, provision, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Provides engineering design and support for multi-tenant platforms in a single domain including hardware, software, automation and monitoring.

As a Windows Server Engineer, you will be responsible for global administration and support of distributed computing systems. You will work closely with our global teams to support Windows Server infrastructure (both physical and virtual).

  • 60% - Primary role is to ensure the global stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems and infrastructure that support core organizational functions, as well as to conduct research on new and emerging technologies for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives.
  • 20% - Experienced knowledge of job role demonstrating advanced application of technical skills and interpersonal competencies
  • 20% - Provides direct global technical support for all requirements in developing strategy, planning, coordination, scripting, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to our distributed computing environment. This includes participating in several small to medium-scale projects and/or tasks of various complexities across the enterprise.

You will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud and related technologies
  • Nutanix HCI, Acropolis OS, Nutanix Files
  • Disaster Recovery replications technologies such as Zerto, Nutanix Xi Leap, or Azure Site Recovery Manager
  • Using ServiceNow ITIL managed processes
  • Installing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server OS (versions 2016 – 2022)
  • Installing and supporting VMware and Hyper-V
  • Managing IaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of ADConnect, ADFS, Azure AD and related technologies
  • Proficient with PowerShell and / or Python
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple server technologies including hardware, O/S, and related tools and applications.
  • Exposure to Rubrik technology
  • High level of technical diagnostic and research skills for servers, adept at troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking components and services such as TCP/IP protocols, DHCP

and DNS technologies, and LAN/WAN topologies and transports.
