The Africa Region leverages its internal and global expertise to drive transformative and innovative practices that reflect the African context. By mobilizing our pre-existing talent within the region and working with our global teams, we take innovation to scale by working alongside our Ministries of Health to reduce health disparities. With potential for expansion, the division currently works across seven country offices and five project offices distributed among four Hubs - Southern, Western, Central and East.
PATH is recruiting a Director of Program Quality and Business Development. This position will support the Africa Region to ensure quality implementation of projects and programs in the region and will support business development efforts, including support to partnership development and nurturing as well as setting strategic direction for the region. PATH implements many projects in countries on the African continent to improve the health and wellbeing of people, with a focus on the underserved and marginalized.
A member of the regional senior management team and reporting to the Chief of Africa Region (CAR), this position will be responsible for project quality across PATH’s four hubs and project countries in Africa. The successful candidate will support country and hub directors and work directly with project directors and project senior management teams, as indicated. The Director of Program Quality and Business Development will also be responsible for providing support for the development of proposals in response to funding opportunities, working closely with both the global and regional teams. There will be close collaboration with proposal development teams.
