We are looking for Laborers, Truck Drivers, and Equipment Operators to join our team for a project in Goldsboro, NC!

Your Role:

Those interested could expect to work 60+ hours per week.

Laborers 

  • Ability to help maneuver pipe, pumps, and hoses.
  • Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and supplies.
  • Perform system construction activities in a safe and proper manner.
  • Perform maintenance on system components to ensure or restore proper operation and compliance.
  • Install Fabric and Geogrid Materials.
  • Install Pipe. 
  • Manually Excavate Dirt/Ash (Shovel).
  • Perform various duties as assigned.

Truck Drivers 

  • Operate an articulating dump truck, straight dump truck, or road dump truck.
  • Perform various duties as assigned. 

Equipment Operators

  • Perform construction maintenance activities in a safe and proper manner.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide clear and accurate documentation.
  • Assist the project technical lead in collecting, packaging, and shipping surface water samples. 
  • Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and supplies.
  • Operate heavy equipment.
  • Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform various duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass a drug, breath alcohol, and physical.
  • At least 1 year of applicable experience working on a construction site.
  • A team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas outside core responsibilities and expertise. 
  • Lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds on a non-consistent basis.
  • Work in and around trenches, heavy equipment, dewatering equipment, and pipe fusion equipment. 
  • Communicate with colleagues, site supervisor and client’s site manager including all safety personnel. 
  • Able to frequently lift or carry containers, poly pipe, pumps, hoses, shovel garbage and loose material, work in and around mine tailings, or loose materials to truck; which may result in twisting, pulling, pushing and bending, depending on the material and collection vehicle type.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. 
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training and current 8-hour refresher is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
