About the Position

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing existing technology clients. You will serve as the point of contact for high value customers and manage all internal matters regarding the account. Responsibilities include an up-to-date and a thorough understanding of clients’ needs and AML RightSource products and services. While the Account Management position is primarily focused on retention and growth of existing accounts, responsibilities will also include pre-sale support, including product demonstration and scoping of customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage key / high value accounts by representing AML RightSource externally with clients and partnering internally by working with supporting functions.
  • Create and execute an Account Plan for each assigned client. Identify opportunities and risks, document a comprehensive contact map, formulate, and prioritize key growth and retention plays, and establish key performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to measure success; establish a method for measuring and tracking account health. 
  • Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects; assume ownership of customer questions and escalations and see through to resolution. 
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, collaborating with sales and product managers, to identify opportunities for upselling and cross selling our suite of financial crime compliance solutions. 
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth, and developing action plans to address any areas of concern. 
  • Leverage deep product knowledge to assist sales with pre-sale customer engagement. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning AML RightSource as a thoughtful leader and trusted partner in the financial crime compliance space. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, solution consulting, or business development within the financial services industry, or comparable professional industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and growing relationships with banks, financial institutions, and fintech companies.
  • Experience building deep technical product knowledge, conducting demonstrations, and delivering customer presentations.
  • Strong understanding of the financial crime compliance landscape, including technology offerings, regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to lead projects, develop timelines, coordinate project teams, and implement action items during the life of a project.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development efforts. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, highly collaborative, able to express ideas readily, manage change fluidly, able to influence and identify opportunities.
