THE ROLE & YOUR MISSION 

As MMBUK Senior Configuration QA you need to: 

  • have a good understanding of benefits and how these are tested on Darwin; 
  • be able to check the end-to-end different complexity Darwin configuration functionalities, alongside with the end user experience. support the Configuration team in delivering quality projects, allocated to them by more senior team members; 
  • proactively take charge of knowledge sharing within team meetings;; 
  • have good Darwin™ knowledge and spend time testing allocated work requests in order to assure the quality of the product delivered; 
  • able to develop and execute basic, medium, complex test cases for work requests assigned by more senior members of the team, with supervision for complex items 
  • be able to identify and raise defects against failed tests (in a clear and concise manner); 
  • be able to verify and validate the defects raised after they have been fixed; 
  • be able to run regression testing on the build after verifying and validating the defects raised against the work request – with support and supervision for the complex test cases and without support for basic and medium tasks; 
  • be able to analyze defects and incidents and identify trends; 
  • keep track of in-flight tasks and give regular status reports to QA Manager and Pod Lead on blockers; 
  • oversee the defect fixing process in the pod; 
  • work closely with the Pod Leads, Configuration Specialists and the Consultants and pro-actively informs the project stakeholders about the status of your own work; 
  • good prioritization skills and ability to schedule and complete the testing assigned by the pod lead in due time. In case of clashes, unexpected issues or unrealistic deadline, you need to flag this proactively to the relevant stakeholders (i.e. Pod Lead, QA Manager, project team) and offer alternative solutions; 
  • be able to use internal work tracking tools for testing, learning and time logging activities and provide support for the Configuration Team if needed; 
  • understand the Configuration Team’s tools purposes and when they need to be used; 
  • communicate effectively with all stakeholders you are interacting with; 
  • be actively involved in defects analysis and team meetings; 
  • be able to give constructive feedback to the project stakeholders; 
  • constantly seeking ways of self-improvement with support where necessary; 
  • prove responsibility for his own development: keeps objectives up to date; 
  • seek out opportunities for developing new skills by reaching to senior members of the team to provide advice on how these can be achieved. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND VALUES

  • 3+ years experience in software development & software quality assurance;
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written in English & Romanian;
  • Attention to details alongside logical - numerical reasoning;
  • Good understanding of internal processes;
  • Internal tools usage;
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
  • Relationship management;
  • Proactivity;
  • Responsibility;
