Job Details:

Job Summary: Responsible for the health and safety of employees in an industrial or manufacturing environment, providing medical care on work-related injuries and illnesses and helping implement various strategies to prevent accidents.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to employees who are injured or become ill at work.
  • Conduct medical assessments and examinations to identify potential health risks and hazards in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with HSE and HR departments to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Offer employees health education on topics such as injury prevention, proper ergonomics, and personal protective equipment.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to identify potential health and safety risks and recommend corrective measures.
  • Create and maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a record of those who are provided care and follow-up of certain employees with chronic illnesses to ensure their well-being in the workplace.
  • Provide guidance and support to injured or ill employees throughout the return to work process.
  • Plan and execute health campaigns for employees.
  • Manage the medicine cabinet inventory and nursing supplies for medical care due to injury or illness.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of the cafeteria.
  • Assists in compliance with STPS procedures and other local, state or federal regulatory laws.
  • Prepare and manage the documentation provided by the IMSS when an occupational injury or illness occurs.
  • Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment, supporting the company's safety programs.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Technical or Professional Nursing Career.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial Nurse.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Organized and Good housekeeping skills.
