Boeing has an opportunity for a Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing for Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This individual will report to the Senior Director for the Global Sales & Marketing Middle East, North Africa, & Turkey region. The successful candidate will be required to develop win strategies and execute campaign plans that lead to international growth and sales for our defense products, services, training, technical publications, simulations, and global distribution offerings. This individual will interface with a diverse and geographically dispersed team of Marketing & Sales professionals around the globe and will manage and lead a team of sales professionals, driving the team to meet or exceed sales goals.
The individual will work closely with business unit International Sales managers representing the primary BDS product families (Air Dominance; Vertical Lift; Mobility, Bombers & Surveillance; and Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems); as well as with the Boeing Saudi Arabia entity of the International Government Services business unit within BGS. The individual will provide service as the 'voice of the customer' to understand and prioritize customer requirements, drive the product development process to meet customer needs, understand customer acquisition processes and budget cycles, influence the opportunities the team pursues, and set the course for BDS & BGS growth over the next 10 years. The individual will support internal processes to include strategic business planning, New Business Fund (NBF) planning and execution, and all requirements of Boeing's Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP), as well as manage the administrative requirements associated with managing and interfacing with a dispersed team. The individual should be knowledgeable of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Cooperative Programs processes, as well as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The individual can expect to travel both domestically and internationally in this position. Successful candidates will possess a record of outstanding performance in positions with ever-increasing responsibility.
This position will be required to travel (approximately 10%), and work in a global team with regular participation in international calls/ meetings, which will include outside of standard business hours.
