Job Information

Overview:

As a Full Stack Support Engineer specializing in Development / L3 support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our software systems. While primarily focused on supporting existing applications and addressing user-reported issues, you will also be responsible for implementing minor enhancements and bug fixes. Your expertise in React, Java Spring Boot, and Python will be essential in diagnosing and resolving issues across the entire technology stack.

Responsibilities:

Development/ L3 Support:

• Provide timely resolution to user-reported issues and technical incidents.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and error logs to proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire technology stack, including UI components, backend APIs, and data engineering processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address critical issues impacting production systems.
• Implement temporary workarounds and permanent fixes to restore service and prevent recurrence of incidents.

Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes:

• Analyze user requirements and system behaviors to identify opportunities for minor enhancements.
• Develop and implement small-scale enhancements to improve system functionality and user experience.
• Fix bugs and defects identified during testing or reported by users.
• Ensure that enhancements and bug fixes are implemented in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.

Technical Investigation and Root Cause Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex technical issues to determine root causes.
• Document findings, resolutions, and recommendations for future prevention.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement permanent fixes and preventive measures based on root cause analysis.

Release Management and Deployment Support:

• Assist in the planning and execution of software releases and deployments.
• Validate release packages and deployment scripts to ensure successful deployment to production environments.
• Monitor post-deployment activities and perform smoke testing to verify system stability and functionality.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain accurate documentation related to system configurations, support processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance collective expertise and efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to junior support staff as needed.

Technical Requirements

React:

• Proficiency in React.js for UI development and support.
• Strong understanding of React lifecycle methods, state management, and component-based architecture.
• Experience with popular React libraries and frameworks such as Redux, Material-UI, or Styled Components.
• Familiarity with React testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme for unit and integration testing.

Java Spring Boot:

• Expertise in Java programming language and Spring Boot framework for backend API development and support.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot features including dependency injection, MVC architecture, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Understanding of Spring Security for implementing authentication and authorization in APIs.

Python:

• Proficiency in Python programming language for data engineering tasks and batch data processing.
• Strong understanding of Python libraries and frameworks commonly used in data engineering, such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Python.
• Knowledge of data serialization formats like JSON, XML, and CSV, and experience with parsing and processing them in Python.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant science and math discipline with an IT emphasis is required.

Minimum Experience

• 4+ years

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of specifics of markup for modern browsers. 
• Understanding of Git , Bit bucket and other version management tools.
• Understanding of postman, and any other API testing tools.
• Understanding of SQL.
• Experience with test automation for Front-End (unit and integration test suites)
• Experience with JS task runners (Gulp, Grunt, Broccoli)
• Experience building system in GCP or any other cloud platform.
• Experience with NodeJS
