Role and Responsibilities

Samsung is currently seeking a seasoned Senior CRM Marketing Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to support our growing DTC eCommerce and corporate marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing full cycle CRM strategies to drive traffic and revenue for Samsung.com supporting all product categories. You will own planning and ad-hoc campaign creation from strategy, execution to sharing post campaign results.

Responsibilities

Build B2C email marketing program to support DTC ecommerce and corporate marketing initiatives campaigns. Apply your analytical abilities and creative talents to develop world-class email marketing campaigns.

Work closely with CRM governance team, category management team and LOB CRM teams on calendar planning, project prioritization and performance tracking, and implement CRM campaigns

Work closely with eCommerce teams (Category Management, merchandising) on understanding traffic goals and supporting via CRM channels - email, SMS, push notification

Work with CRM operations and content and creative teams to design and launch complex campaigns using our internal and external tools

Drive 1:1 personalization and segmentation strategy, reporting on results and identifying new segment opportunities. Work closely with data science and insights teams to understand consumer segmentation, behavior, and identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing

Scope, develop and oversee CRM marketing strategies across email and push notifications and SMS to meet Marketing KPI goals. Develop reporting and KPI’s to measure campaign effectiveness and make recommendations on optimization opportunities.

Manage step-by-step process of campaigns including but not limited to coordination with design and creative agency, defining template and creatives in accordance with brand guidance, structuring A/B tests, setting up campaign and delivery, and reporting on results.

Champion continuous advancement of marketing automation features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, and template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including development teams, designers, business teams, re-targeting automation platform vendor teams

Partner with eCommerce, Corporate Marketing, privacy and legal, PR, CRM Governance team, CRM operations, creative agency, Reporting and BI teams

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS in marketing, communications, e-commerce, merchandising or related field; or equivalent experience required.

12+ years’ experience with customer marketing, customer communications, or the customer engagement space and 8+ years’ experience specifically within Email and CRM channels.

Track record of creating email marketing strategies that inspire customers and drive revenue.

Experience driving demonstrable business results through testing and deploying effective marketing campaigns across different channels.

Prior experience in working with an email service provider, managing a daily email/SMS campaign and reporting on results is required.

Deep understanding of the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, email service providers and CRM; interest in getting under the hood to bend the technology to your will.

Experience with one or more B2C digital marketing platforms (e.g. Adobe, Oracle, IBM).

Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to details with swift execution

Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities

Experience with A/B testing, messaging, and post-campaign analysis

Proficient in analyzing and reporting on KPIs

Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in using web and data analytic tools (Google Analytics, Tableau)

Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate your ideas and convince an audience using data and visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, email service providers and CRM; interest in getting under the hood to bend the technology to your will.
