Drs. Marie-Claude Couture and Erin Grinshteyn’s research group in the University of San Francisco’s School of Nursing and Health Professions is seeking a Part-Time Research Assistant to join our team. This position is part-time and is located in San Francisco, with the option to do some work remotely within the U.S.

Full Job Description:

The part-time Research Assistant (RA) will support our research project that aims to determine the causal pathways of social and environmental predictors of high-risk alcohol drinking among college students. The RA will help with the following research activities: i) cleaning and managing user data in Excel and ArcGIS Pro, ii) geoprocessing study participants’ GPS data to analyze environmental exposure statistics, iii) ensuring up-to-date and accurate demographic and survey data is used, iv) documenting all processes. The position requires attention to detail when performing analysis and the ability to problem-solve. The RA will have the opportunity to contribute to project outputs, including scientific presentations and publications.

Contract period: 6-12 months (until graduation)

Hours: ~8 hours/week (flexible)

Salary: $18.07/hour
