Principal Lead Solution Architect

What role will you play?

As the Principal Lead Solution Architect (P-LSA), you will be responsible for the running of our Center of Excellence (COE) and overseeing our modernisation team - focused on decoupling of a monolith into a service-based architecture and running our architecture and engineering forums. You will be accountable for driving standards, OOTB consumption, best practice and increasing re-use and work closely with Directors of Engineering and Product and key business stakeholders to drive the best use of our investment. You will be heavily involved in designing and delivering our strategy and roadmap and running delivery and product development as well as ensuring the platforms are designed to be highly available, reliable and provide best in class monitoring and observability.

What you offer

  • 10+ year’s experience in developing and managing large scale technical platforms and leading and mentoring engineers (LSA’s, LBA’s, SSA’s, SBA’s etc.)
  • Track record of defining architectural guidelines and best practices, along with chairing technical guilds and forums
  • History of providing design recommendations that leverage high OOTB functionality and re-use across multiple platforms
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders to align business requirements to software solutions
  • Track record of owning and delivering change from inception to production
  • Excellent understanding of Pega best practices and architecture
  • Understanding of AWS of GCP advantageous.
