Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Romulus, Michigan on a full-time basis.
The Role
At GM environmental, we are geared towards developing creative solutions to complex environmental challenges. As an Environmental Engineer at the Romulus facility, you will have the opportunity to champion the air, waste and water compliance programs and be responsible for developing programs to reduce environmental risk. You will work cross functionally with diverse groups to create and implement best-in-class, sustainable solutions to improve environmental compliance and sustainability across the site.
As an Environmental Engineer you will be working in an exciting manufacturing environment and be a part of a team fulfilling GM’s Vision of Zero, Zero, Zero. As a valued member within the Sustainable Workplaces team, your role is focused on providing technical expertise, developing strategies, and looking ahead for the future success of GM. We are currently looking for hardworking individuals who have a passion for the environment and who want to help make the facility a leader in environmental compliance and sustainability.
