The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Director of Health Analytics, and is responsible for assisting in providing insights, analysis, reports and maintaining analytical findings for several platforms. Accountable for validating identifying key drivers and investigating areas of opportunities and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process maps, use cases, and user stories.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of business solutions, leveraging industry best practices and technology solutions.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making and business strategy.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of business initiatives and track progress towards goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes and systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and project management, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Exercises sound judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action(s) to undertake.
  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific programs, projects, and products.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products to include SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook
  • Strong grammatical, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills with an ability to accurately describe technical information in simple, clear language
  • A highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • A strong work ethic and technical knowledge, with the ability to self-manage workload and deliverables under tight deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Analytics, Health Economics, or related field

Required Experience

4+ years of experience in healthcare business analysis, Pharmacy, project management, or related field, with a proven track record of driving successful business outcomes

Proven ability to generate various reports for management teams.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate, draw conclusions and adapt to changing needs and demands.
  • Strong Excel skills - Pivots, VLookups, SQL, with modelling capabilities
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the organization's operations.
  • Skill in collecting, organizing and analyzing data.
  • Experience with business intelligence, Pharmacy and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification(s) in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred.
  • Pharmacy Rx experience preferred.
