Department 01827 - Preparatory Division Job Summary

The Preparatory Division is seeking highly qualified applicants for a part-time position at the rank of Associate Instructor to teach private piano lessons in the piano program.

Responsibilities

Requirements and qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Piano performance or Pedagogy
  • Significant pre-college-level teaching experience
  • Ability to follow an established curriculum
  • Ability to communicate with parents, Faculty and staff
  • Knowledge in music theory and piano technique
  • Some Saturdays required for recitals and evaluations

2. Link to 2 teaching videos of students of different levels. Please make sure the camera angle shows both the teacher and student. Include in cover letter.
