As our sales maturity continuously improve, we have the need to recruit proven Sales Technology experts who can further accelerate our adoption and deployment of the right tools and processes that drive sustainable organic growth faster than the market.

We are currently seeking a Sales Technology Analyst who can leverage their experiences to directly impact the commercial effectiveness and sales performance of Industrial Automation sales organization.

This position will be located at the Honeywell global headquarters in Bucharest, Romania.

Sales Technology Analyst, Honeywell Industrial Automation (IA)

As the Sales Technology Analyst, you will be responsible for partnering with key business stakeholders and Information Technology experts to deploy leading technology platforms and processes to improve the productivity of the Industrial Automation salesforce. This includes partnering with key stakeholder groups to identify and prioritize business needs, translate those needs into actionable functionality requirements and then working with the IT organization to effectively deploy new capabilities and processes to the sales team leveraging leading change management processes.

This key position in our organization collaborates regularly with global, cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales Excellence, and Information Technology to deliver comprehensive and profitable outcomes for Honeywell.

Reporting to the IA Sr. Director of Sales Enablement and working with other Sales and Sales Technology leaders:

  • Influence and build the IA Sales Tools strategy and actions plans
  • Lead end-to-end projects and enhancements, including but not limited to requirement gathering, scoping, management, UAT and change management
  • Lead and support strategic improvement programs including but not limited to CRM upgrades and/or system integrations and data migrations, interfaces between sales and other functions from a tools perspective (Outreach, Aviso, CRMA, etc…)
  • Drive the technology side of change management for the sales function within IA
  • Ensure continuous process improvements to simplify tool utilization
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development function to build and deploy a sales tools training strategy to increase sales tools adoption and engagement
  • Lead Sales Technology – Sales Excellence working group to ensure common evolution of GDM standards for the 4 businesses at SPS
  • Build metrics to monitor sales tools utilization, license ROI and propose alternative solutions
  • Collaborate with other Sales Technology leaders within Honeywell for return on experience
  • Build a Salesforce Champions community to ensure voice of users is heard through Salesforce Champions, change requests are justified, prioritized fairly, well communicated and deployed.
  • Manage a team of sales technology professionals, including skill development, tactical and decision support, skills matrix and drive individual growth and development of the team to ensure skills reinforcement and coverage for all existing and future products/tools.
  • Drive development of Individual Development Plans, support individual team members’ growth and exposure to key development opportunities.

The measures of success will include:

  • Successful deployment and adoption of priority tools and technology capabilities
  • Driving year-on-year improvements in seller productivity
  • Improvement in seller satisfaction as measured by the Voice of the Employee survey monitoring Barriers to Execution as well as informal feedback from the sales population

Qualifications you will need for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an additional, relevant post-graduate business/commercial qualification
  • 3+ Years of related experience in a similar function including sales, IT or sales technology
  • 2+ years experience operating in and/or supporting Salesforce.com
