The Role:

The CoStar sales team is a 350+ sales organization that drives approximately $1B in annual revenue for CoStar Group. The Director of Sales Operations, CoStar, will report to the Global Head of CRE Sales and will be responsible for supporting sales growth across the organization. They will be responsible for reporting and analytics that will inform operational efficiencies across the sales organization, identify trends, and forecast and identify business opportunities. They will develop strong partnerships with other sales leaders across regions to identify strengths and opportunities across teams and develop strategies to manage the sales population more effectively. They will help in planning and reporting the progress of sales initiatives, help identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business objective of achieving Targeted YOY sales growth by focusing on operational efficiency and identifying opportunities for growth. 
  • Enhance current reporting capabilities and provide weekly analysis to sales leaders on production and sales activity to identify actionable areas for improvement and opportunities to pursue.
  • Develop dashboards that provide up to date information to sales leaders and sales associates on KPIs and other business objectives and goals.
  • Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to understand and prioritize strategic opportunities with senior leadership. 
  • Partner with sales leaders to project manage strategic initiatives that will benefit CoStar Group and the CoStar sales team. 
  • Follow sales campaigns, manage target lists, and identify appropriate assignments across the sales organization while providing insights of campaign performance. 
  • Identify and communicate new requirements to enhance CRM capabilities to the IT Development team and introduce new workflows. 
  • Support regional sales leadership with book of business balancing and maintenance. 
  • Partner with sales leaders across the organization to define, document, and enforce rules of engagement for the CoStar Salesforce. 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a STEM degree required; Masters preferred.
  • 8+ years in a high growth company working with data to achieve sales targets
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders across regions to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and SQL to analyze and present data
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to present data clearly and concisely. 
  • Strong problem solver – must possess strong interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, project management and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
