About the Role

As an intern with ButcherBox Food Science, Quality, and Safety (FSQS), you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to meaningful projects. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with various tasks including research, data analysis, and project coordination
  • Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to improve processes
  • Analyze data and report on supplier performance, identifying trends, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in maintaining and updating company and department policies, procedures, and other relevant documentation
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product/supplier issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Responsibilities

  • Interest in Food Science/Nutrition/Agriculture disciplines
  • Strong comfort level in Microsoft Office suite including Teams and Sharepoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Jira, Optiva/M3 and other software systems a big plus
  • Hybrid schedule: must be able to commute to our Watertown, MA office at least 1 day per week
