Our summer interns will specialize in their preferred fields, gaining hands-on real-world experience. 

Up for the challenge? As a Design Intern, you will assist and support the design team in bringing our home renovation plans to life. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our amazing designers, gain practical knowledge, and contribute to exciting projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the development and execution of design concepts
• Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Create detailed drawings, sketches, and CAD plans for approval
• Assist in in house staging, light staging, installation and take down
• Support the selection of interior furnishings, accessories, art and furniture for in-house staging as needed
• Support team with admin, ordering, and scheduling as needed
• Represent Maverick Design and Wedgewood with positivity, strive for excellence and integrity

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing Interior Design degree 
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft, and AutoCAD
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• The ability to work collaboratively
• Drive to learn, and willingness to take on challenges

This is a paid internship offering a compensation of $20 per hour. Wedgewood occupies 50,000 square feet in a state of the art headquarters in Redondo Beach, California and has been named Company of the Year by the city. Wedgewood has additional office locations in Las Vegas and Dallas, and along with smaller offices throughout the country.
