As a Backend Engineer, you will be joining the team in Berlin under the mission to define, own, and build the experience that enables our partners to succeed on our platform, creating a seamless experience for them that democratizes their access to the fashion market. Collaborate with partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that enhance their selling choices. Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and processes that enhance our partners' experience. WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have solid knowledge of one of our preferred JVM technologies, either Scala, or Kotlin. Furthermore, you have built libraries and tools to boost the productivity of other developers. Functional Programming experience is a bonus.
You are experienced working in diverse environments and have very good English communication skills.
You care about growing inclusive team environments, as well as your less experienced peers.
You have a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals combined with a strong capacity for solving complex problems.
You are experienced in software development, designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
You have good knowledge of cloud architectures and experience with cloud platforms like AWS. You have a good understanding of PostgreSQL.
You command architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods well.
