LEAD CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST (Temple/Episcopal Campus - 40HR Day Shift) - (242222)

Description

Reporting to the Supervisor Substance Use Disorder Engagement Team, this position will be based at TUHE, but will have mobility to support members of the certified recovery specialist team throughout the health system. In this role, the Lead CRS will provide drug and alcohol assessments and clinical guidance for CRS's as they engage patients with substance use disorder. The individual in this position will partner with CRS's to jointly problem solve barriers to patient recovery and ensure the CRS's deliver on improving warm handoff effectiveness.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Associates Degree (Preferred)

Experience

Minimum 2 years lived experience in D&A Recovery (Required)

General experience and knowledge providing Drug/Alcohol Assessments (Required)

2 years prior work/volunteer experience as Recovery Specialist (Preferred)

License/Certifications

CRS - Cert Recovery Specialist (Required)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
