Position Summary

Responsible for executing the Clinical Education strategy to provide ongoing support to customers in order to achieve maximum utilization of ASP products and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Work with demand generation and clinical education representatives to provide second level support, training and support on ASP products and / or processes based on international standards and recommendations to our customers. Develop strong clinical relationships with key opinion leaders to better understand the needs of the clinical education market. Develop and standardize processes and tools across the region in collaboration with business leader and key business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop educational programs and content to provide clinical support and expertise to physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals on ASP products and scientific issues related to endoscope sterilization and reprocessing;
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and guideline updates in the CSSD and GI suit and spread this knowledge throughout the ASP organization
  • Develop the tools to demonstrate the proper use of the products to customers;
  • Provide theoretical and practical training to the internal sales force, clients and distributors;
  • Use and update the sales force dashboard monthly to monitor clinical education activities and execute actions to maintain goals.
  • Identify business opportunities for ASP and provide information on competitive products;
  • Prepare report of education plans and suggest improvements based on customer needs;
  • Coordinate and participate as a speaker in product trainings and contribute to the development of subject matter experts for participation in professional education events.
  • Interact with Medical Affairs and Copy Review to ensure that educational content meets all publishing and communication standards.
  • Develop and manage the Annual Educational Agenda (internal and external), as well as manage the ASP opinion leaders program
  • Develop within the internal organization the experts in the matter necessary to continue being recognized as the market leaders in the sterilization and reprocessing market.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

health care discipline preferred i.e. nursing, bioengineer, Surgical instrumentation, dentistry, pharmacy, or biochemistry

Years of Related Experience:

A minimum of five 5 years of health care experience is required.

Clinical experience in sterilization and / or high-level disinfection (desired)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations:

  • Focus on the customer: creating positive relationships and partnerships with clients, key opinion leaders and technical associations.
  • Market insight and customer understanding - Learn about the market segments and their drivers so that you can define the Clinical Education service levels to be included as part of ASP's total value proposition.
  • Communication and collaboration: Clearly articulate customer need and market dynamics to the business leadership team. Collaborate with key business partners to achieve business goals. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in developing relationships with diverse stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Strategic Thinking - demonstrates understanding of healthcare environment practices, standards, and policies and identifies impact on business goals, makes recommendations to support key initiatives.
