Account Manager MMM

Location: This position will work on-site on a regional office located in 330 Calle San Luis, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Schedule: This position will work full-time. Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Account Manager MMM is responsible for organizing, overseeing, and directing operational processes related to new groups and renewal processes including client accounts, group experience as well as communication with current clients and prospects.

How you will make an impact:

  • Primary duties include but are not limited to: 
  • Develops and maintains business relationships which generate confidence and improve business. 
  • Maintain open relations with current clients and new prospects regarding account performance, new enrollees, and other related matters. 
  • Provides support services to group administrators, group members, and third parties such as agents, brokers, and consultants.
  • Assists with coordination of conventions and special sales activities as necessary. 
  • Runs and revises necessary reports. 
  • Revises the report of applications generated directly by members of the group retiree sales department. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related area and a minimum of 2 years sales experience in healthcare; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Previous experience working with older population and/or disabled population strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of Medicare and HCFA regulations and guidelines, and managed care business preferred. 
  • Fully bilingual required.
  • Health insurance sales license(s) preferred.
