Your role

Are you a passionate engineer and Java developer with a strong focus on delivery? Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications on the Cloud Platform using Microservice Architecture?

We’re looking for a senior java developer to:

• collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
• implement software aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions in a micro service oriented architecture application deployed in the cloudtechnically co-lead an agile team to design and implement
• perform code reviews and share results with colleagues
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure

Your team

You’ll be working in the Lending Cluster team in Zürich. We provide engineering services for all Lending related topics to all business divisions of the UBS group. Together as team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards. As a java developer, you'll play an important role in building the next generation of Lending Applications using newest technologies.

Your expertise

• ideally 10+ years of experience as Java Developer with strong analysis and design skills, finance sector background a plus
• proven delivery record of cloud & Microservice based IT solutions
• in depth understanding of the building resilient and secure IT applications using the Spring framework
• strong focus on automated testing and CI/CD pipeline
