Job title:

To support the Philips Remote Services (PRS) Lead with helping connect customers imaging equipment to the Philips remote support network.

Your role:

  • PRS enables Philips engineers to monitor system performance, identify errors and take action to correct those errors or guide field engineers in the correction of those errors. As such, this is a critical role in driving the future technologies to support the remote connectivity of medical equipment and thereby play a part in helping our customers improve the level of care they offer their patients.
  • Reporting to the Technical Support Manager ANZ, you will be part of a dynamic team of technical experts for modalities such as Magnetic Resonace Imaging, Computed Tomography, Image Guided Therapy, Ultrasound and Digital X-Ray. Working with the ANZ PRS Lead, you will be required to assist customers IT staff to establish and maintain VPN connections and work with Philips engineers to connect equipment and troubleshoot remote connectivity infrastructure.

Once trained and proficient, the role has the ability to work a couple of days a week from home.

1. You will have a basic understanding of WAN technologies and be familiar with VPNs.

2. You will be computer literate and able to discuss WAN technologies with technical experts.

3. You are undertaking or have completed a degree in IT or computer connectivity.

4. You will have a safety and quality mindset.
