Part Time Faculty: Geology Instructor

Position Information

Job Summary:

The Geosciences program within the Department of Science at Minot State University (https://www.minotstateu.edu/geology/) invites applicants for an Adjunct Geology Instructor. The position requires the ability to teach lower-level geology courses. These courses will be offered in a face-to-face format in Minot, ND. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach lecture and lab portions of basic geology courses, such as:
  • Possibility may exist to teach upper-level geology courses, such as:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Geoscience
  • Presence in or near Minot, ND and ability to teach face-to-face courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree in Geology, Geography, Geophysics or Geological Engineering
