Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Candidates will typically have 12 years of experience in Cloud Data analytics.
  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience with people management.
  • Experience promoting data and analytics software or solutions. Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience planning, pitching, and executing a territory business strategy/sales programs and scale business. Experience managing a quota-carrying sales team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in new ways of working and cultural transformation.
  • Experience with Sales in Database, Analytics, and Business Intelligence sales space.
  • Experience with decisions and communications at the executive level.
  • Ability to plan, present, and execute a territory business strategy.
  • Ability to engage with C-level IT and business leaders and influence
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills.

As a Data and Analytics Sales Manager, you will create and execute the Data Analytics sales strategy. In this role, you will apply Google Cloud’s Data Analytics solutions to enterprises and navigate agreement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, motivate, develop, and lead a team of sales specialists to grow and exceed annual and quarterly goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider Google sales organization to develop scaled strategies, drive pipeline, and provide oversight to the overall data analytics pipeline health.
  • Explore and understand customer requirements on business and technical levels. Engage, educate, and ensure satisfaction of the installed base.
  • Generate a plan to ensure broad data analytics growth into Google Cloud accounts and manage cross-functional partners in implementation projects and agreements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as an advisor.
