What We Are Looking For

3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions is seeking an individual trained in completing daily lab tasks, managing inventory, maintain safety standards associated with laboratory operations, and conduct tests according to established procedures and SOPs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Input data and maintain accurate records of tests on worksheets and computer files.

interpret results and historical data to ensure the product meets customer requirements.

Perform weekly calibration checks on lab instruments and records data.

provide instructions to production personnel regarding adjustments to batches as needed.

Perform clerical tasks as required to receive/release material shipments.

Retain samples in an organized manner.

Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor while interacting with fellow team members.

Assist with maintaining consumable levels related to lab operations.

Support quality team efforts to comply with 3D Systems QMS requirements.

Education and Training

High School diploma or equivalent

1+ years of analytical lab testing experience.

Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility.

Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, MRP systems, Oracle.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Familiarity with laboratory safety guidelines including material storage and waste disposal.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with applied experience in a team environment.

Ability to react quickly to quality issues providing containment, solutions, and closure in a timely manner. 

Work with minimal supervision and the ability to lead others. 

Ability to perform unit conversion and other calculations related to material formulations.

Familiarity with measuring tools and instruments such as calipers, mics, height gauge, etc. 

Familiarity with chemical analytical tools
