JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Assembler performs manual labor along a production line; operates and troubleshoots production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers; may perform minor repairs as necessary.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operate production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers
  • Troubleshoot production line machinery
  • Responsible for component level quality assurance; make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications; reject product outside of specifications
  • Operate within standard operating procedures
  • Complete daily production logs
  • Communicate with peers and manager related to line activities and issues
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Training

  • High school diploma required; AA degree preferred

Experience

  • At least 1 year of assembly experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Cross training on all related job functions
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required; manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently
