Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Project Manager for IT Applications, you will lead a variety of modernization and integration projects for the NI Test & Measurement business unit of Emerson. Daily, you will collaborate with stakeholder to define project scope and objectives, coordinate, execute, and deliver projects while performing risk management along with our portfolio, architect, and business stakeholders. This role will need to work across various IT sites and time zones. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead modernization projects in alignment with organizational objectives and IT strategy. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies while prioritizing critical systems. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, developers, architects, and business stakeholders. 
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to the appropriate audience at regular intervals. 
  • Identify potential roadblocks, risks, and challenges related to modernization efforts, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success, particularly focusing on integrated applications. 
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of modernization and migration efforts. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. 
  • 7+ years experience as a Project Manager. 
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex multi-team and site projects, preferably integration and modernization projects. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools, such as O365, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, JIRA. 
  • Experience managing Oracle EBS projects a preferred. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Confidence to lead without authority. 
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
