As the Project Engineer you will spearhead the planning, development, coordination, and execution of engineering projects aimed at enhancing operational performance in alignment with our mission. Safety is paramount, and you will ensure the safe execution of projects, adhering rigorously to all safety regulations for PM employees and contractors.

Your ‘day to day’

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of domains, including sustainability, environment, health, and safety, where you will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. You'll also play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards, chipping in to the definition of specifications to meet customer expectations for new products.

In addition to project planning and documentation, you'll lead all aspects of equipment installation and project implementation, ensuring alignment to schedules and quality standards. Effective communication will be key as you collaborate closely with various departments and collaborators to ensure project success.

Monitoring and evaluating project performance, controlling budgeted expenditures, and reporting to management and steering committees will be integral aspects of your role. Furthermore, you'll play a crucial part in fostering professional development and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Who we’re looking for

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • You have 5-8 years of experience working in an Engineering department of a high-volume consumer goods manufacturing company.
  • Strong experience in Project Management (a formal education in PM is a preferred).
  • You are driven, committed and hard-working to level up standards and has strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office tools is also required
