Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) in the CX & Sales organization, you will be in the center of the action where product meets business. You will be working closely with product managers, engineering managers, development teams, and other stakeholders, helping to develop the product as per the business requirement without compromising on the industry's best coding practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality and responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js.
  • Collaborate with the design and backend teams to implement and enhance user-facing features.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that follows best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts for web development.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or in production.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to front-end development.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD either GCP or MS Azure.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure thorough testing and deployment of web applications.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contribute to sprint planning, and provide accurate estimations for project timelines.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • 7+ years of work experience as a Frontend Developer preferably in a Product/ GCC set-up.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing solutions using JavaScript (React JS, Next JS & Node JS)
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript including ES6+ and Typescript.
  • Hands-on experience in developing scalable and responsive web applications.
  • Hands-on experience in handling security tokens, OAuth, and Routing concepts.
  • Ability to handle localization to support multiple languages.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context) and modern frontend tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
  • Exposure to CICD tools, including Git, GitHub, Azure
  • Ability to translate design prototypes into working code.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling via NodeJS.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Willing to adapt and learn new/emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) using Next.js.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, starting in May 2024.
