As a Sales Support Specialist (Order Management)for E-Mobility Business Area in Shinagawa, Japan, you will be responsible for providing internal and external customer support (e.g. basic order handling, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction. The local legal entity of this position is ABB K.K.

Your responsibilities

  • Being responsible for orders acknowledgment, orders changes, delivery notes generation, Invoice notes generation by SAP
  • Ensuring the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinating resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams
  • Coordinating appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place
  • Informing customers about issue status based on inputs and clarifying any questions. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire process
  • Preparing and analyzing regular statistics (e.g. forecast) using available tools and collecting relevant information
  • Tracking regular target performance and provides results to management

Your background

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in related roles with extensive knowledge of the function and department processes
  • Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages, and managing stakeholders of varying management levels
  • ERP experience (SAP experience is preferred)
  • Proficient in oral and written English communication
  • JLPT N1 level of Japanese
