Job Description:

The Role: 

  • Responsible for the HVM (high volume manufacturing) process, includes SOP review and creation, process improvement and maintain product quality with statistics tools, etc. 
  • Provide support to the operations and quality groups for troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process control, and management of change issues. 
  • Develop and implement state-of-art technologies in manufacturing to improve product cost, quality and consistency. 
  • A capital project leader to meet NPI (new product introduction) development scheduling and sample supply timeline, includes material number creation, SAP batch process and LIMS data setting, etc. 

In this role you will: 

  • Join the project team of new product and new process introduction, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality and related functions to achieve the business goal. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of cost and quality in the existing manufacturing process and enhance final product quality through quick and efficient responsiveness and troubleshooting related to performance issues 
  • Fully support the NPI sample delivery and the LVCP/NPI transition to HVM on schedule 
  • Lead SPC review for issue solving and quality 
  • Lead (capital) projects for safety, process improvement and productivity 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred, major in chemical engineering related is preferred or chemicals profession 
  • Critical thinker and confident problem solver with expertise in FMEA-like skill-sets and troubleshooting experience 
  • Expertise in statistical design of experiments, statistical process control, and data analysis and correlation. Ability to focus and summarize complex data sets towards key decision points and actions. 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to organize technical information for presentation to internal/external functions. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence at various organizational levels 
  • Open minded, navigate challenges and proactively seek solutions. 
  • Ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English 
  • Particle-based and/or semiconductor exposure preferred. 
  • Experience with process control methodologies used in continuous and batch chemical operations preferred
