Job Description:

  • Assemble PCBA’s, modules and subassemblies using approved soldering, wiring/ cabling, connector installation, and bonding in a high reliability environment.
  • Top level system integration of pcbas, modules, subassemblies, components, and housings.
  • De-soldering and rework of failed components on pcbas, modules, and subassemblies.
  • Perform surface mount, fine pitch and through hole soldering IAW J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class III.
  • Able to work with Miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers and soldering irons.
  • Familiar with processing oven and UV curing epoxies.
  • Familiar with masking and conformal coating of boards.
  • Performs tasks associated with use of process ovens for curing and cleaning of parts.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and a proven track record in electronics assembly.
  • Ability to work under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, soldering irons and other similar tools. Good dexterity, hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings. Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job related activities.
  • Familiar working in an ESD and FOD environment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills.
  • This job requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b(a)(3)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on military products in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environment.
  • J-STD-001 Certification
  • J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification
  • IPC-A-610 Inspection Certification
  • Experience in related field of precision timing a plus
  • High School / vocational school / GED diploma or equivalent.
