Revenue Cycle Manager

As a Revenue Cycle Manager, you will manage all functions of the organization's billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. In conjunction with agency staff, the revenue cycle manager will contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross functional revenue cycle team. The RCM will work collaboratively with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, VP of Finance and CFO.

Requirements:

  • Healthcare Admin Degree and/or in lieu a minimum of 10 years in medical billing experience is required. Knowledge of Substance Abuse billing processes and workflows a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years managerial and/or supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience with medical billing software
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft applications..ie..Power Point, Excel, Word, Vizio.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director of RCM with managing the billing department staff
  • Responsible for claims being submitted in a timely manner
  • Manage claim denials and responsible for timely follow-up
  • Responsible for completion of all billing tracking reports
  • Manage relationship with payor contacts
  • Perform Medicaid billing audits and document results
  • Train appropriate staff on Medicaid compliance
  • Perform such other billing, compliance, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time – quite often on short notice - by the Director of Revenue Cycle Mgmt.
