YAI's Center for Specialty Therapy is an outpatient mental health clinic in downtown Brooklyn. We serve individuals and families with Developmental Disabilities. We are looking for a second-year Social Work Student to work with our psychotherapists and observe and provide supervised psychotherapy. This is a unique opportunity to begin to learn therapy or counseling skills.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred as we serve a diverse population.
• Applicants eager to develop their clinical skills as therapists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Start date: 9/9/2024

End date: 5/1/2025

This is an unpaid internship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning
