Efficiently leads personnel and resources ensuring that all Policies and Procedures are followed completely. 

Ensures all reports and correspondence are properly completed in a timely manner throughout the Department. 

Answers telephones using the proper telephone etiquette and dispatches to the appropriate departments. 

Controls responding forces and handles emergencies using the proper method, while simultaneously using the correct safety procedures. 

Holds roll call and make assignments at the beginning of shift. 

Continually evaluates team for alertness, appearance and proper performance of duties. Checks all reports for accuracy and completeness. 

Reports all unsafe conditions which have been identified to the Supervisor. 

Briefs the Supervisor on all matters that should be called to the Supervisor attention. 

Briefs the Supervisor on all incidents and any pertinent information occurring on the previous shift. 

Responds to all fire alarms and other emergencies within the property. 

Verifies and approves all trespass warnings and detentions. 

Investigates complaints about Security from guests, Department heads, etc. 

Disciplines subordinates when necessary. 

Ensures that all monetary transactions handled by Security Personnel are within State Gaming Regulations. 

All duties and tasks delegated by the Security Supervisor. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be 19 years of age or older. 

High school graduate or equivalent is required 

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a security type role preferred. 

Prior experience is a position with direct guest contact is preferred. 

Ability to manage several tasks at once 

Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs 

Must be able to obtain and possess a First Aid & CPR certifications and have a current and valid Nebraska Driver’s License. 

Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift 

Must present a well-groomed appearance. 

Must be able to prepare effective written reports 

Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team 

Must be able to foster teamwork and a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks. 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

May be subjected to high noise volumes, flashing or bright lighting, and guest conflicts. Work in a fast-paced environment and will require all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.
