SUMMARY
The Ambulatory Clinical Dietitian Supervisor is responsible for assisting management with coordinating the clinical dietetic
services in the ambulatory care setting of Grady Health System. This role involves assisting in the management of a team of ambulatory clinical dietitians, ensuring the provision of comprehensive nutritional care to outpatients, and collaborating with
healthcare professionals to promote wellness and optimal patient health.
JOB DUTIES
- Assist management in leading a team of ambulatory clinical dietitians.
- Assist management in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of dietetic staff while fostering a positive and
collaborative work environment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nutritional care plans for patients and ensure compliance with nutrition protocols and
standards.
- Review and assess patient medical records for QA compliance.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for dietetic staff.
- Coordinate continuing education to keep staff informed about the latest nutrition-related research and practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in an ambulatory setting.
- Communicate effectively with staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition care services.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Able to provide counseling on dietary modifications, food selection, and lifestyle changes as needed.
- Assist in research development to support quality nutrition care using evidence-based practice.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical dietetics, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential, Licensure in state of Georgia
