  • Analyzes production parts inventory and coordinates with US material team and local operations team on replenishment and stocking levels
  • Track critical parts, monitor daily deliveries, investigate missed commits and communicate recovery dates
  • Guides the procurement team and assists in the negotiation process for non-production materials to ensure the procurement process is executed per the standard work/processes.
  • Support the overall needs of the business while collaborating cross functionally to ensure business needs are met and pricing obtained from supply base is competitive.
  • Drive cost reductions where possible, improve our relations with existing suppliers while finding new suppliers who can meet our needs more efficiently and to identify cost reductions opportunities.
  • Oversee the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production.
  • Manages material inventory, supplier integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls.
  • Coordinates activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Plans and maintains proper staffing levels in area of responsibility
  • Set goals, targets and career objectives for each member of the team. Monitor team member’s performance
  • Champions an environment of relentless continuous improvement; actively participates in and leads continuous improvement events and projects.
  • Ensures all production and support personnel operate in full compliance with the RTX Code of Ethics, regulatory requirements, and RTX / Collins company policies.
  • Ensures workplace is safe and free of significant hazards; and is a champion for worker safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
