Marketing Content and Communications Manager – Amazon Global Trade

Location - Bangalore

Amazon’s Global Selling program has enabled 1,25,000 Indian exporters to cross $8 billion in cumulative ecommerce exports (2015-2023), showcasing crores of “Made in India” products to customers worldwide. We’re seeking an experienced and talented Marketing Content and Communications Manager to join the Amazon Global Trade Marketing team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering compelling content to our target audiences.

The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in writing and editing, coupled with the ability to craft engaging digital and brand-focused marketing content. Successful candidates will thrive in both self-directed and collaborative team environments. The Marketing Content and Communications Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the SEO content strategy for the Amazon Global Selling website, overseeing content creation for other online and offline channels including social media, events, etc., and producing effective content for products, brand campaigns, events, partnerships, and exporter education. They must be adept at creating content in various formats, collaborating with subject matter experts to simplify complex technical concepts into clear messaging that drives program awareness, consideration, and adoption. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering customer-centric content of the highest quality are essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and execute annual and monthly content strategy for the Amazon Global Selling website with a focus on SEO. This includes content creation, publishing, and post-publishing analysis.
  • Create content collateral for Global Trade products in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, spanning formats such as presentations, blogs, videos, and social media content.
  • Write and edit content (articles, social media captions, landing pages, PPTs, video scripts, and emailers) for various marketing initiatives, including exporter education program, SEM, brand campaigns, events, partnerships, social media, etc.
  • Assist in developing the annual content and communications strategy and help execute a calendar aligned with team priorities.
  • Maintain workflows and uphold standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing.
  • Maintain content metrics including monitoring website and content metrics, and optimize as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content deliverables, especially for the website.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice across channels in terms of style, language, and quality, aligned with program key messages.
  • Research and ideate themes and topics for new marketing content properties, staying abreast of evolving trends.
