As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be joining a collaborative global team of like-minded people who thrive on technical problem-solving and relish design challenges. Working in an agile team environment, our teams are full-stack, with capabilities to deliver full features across frontend, backend, eventing, and storage layers. Genesys software engineers think through implementation details of scale, security, and usability. You will be part of a team building new features, ensuring the scalability and availability of the entire platform by delivering high-quality code.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Solid development experience with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with one of the major cloud providers
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Production mindset: has a holistic approach to delivering value for customers — prioritizing continuous evolution, data-driven decisions, and customer delight

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
  • Frontend development experience with React is an advantage.
  • Experience with other programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash)

What you will do:

  • Develop in-house CICD tools in TypeScript that help development teams develop and deploy hundreds of microservices every day
  • Maintain and support the use of existing tools
  • Working in a DevOps culture: you are part of the software delivery process and work together through the entire application lifecycle. And that everyone is equally responsible for designing, building, and running the software.
  • Working in Agile teams

A little bit about our stack:

  • The infrastructure is built upon AWS. Infrastructure-as-Code is a key principle in our teams, so we’re leveraging Ansible and Terraform. 
  • Majority of our code is written in Typescript and Python, the UI will be in React
  • Logging with SumoLogic, monitoring with NewRelic
