Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior HR Business Partner provides a range of People Solutions services within an assigned region and/or markets. Services may include compensation, benefits, compliance assurance, succession planning, training and advice on employee relations and similar matters. Works on a collaborative basis with local management and employees and with People Solutions centers of excellence and program / process owners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides service delivery, advice, and support across a regional or other organizational areas.
  • Performs the full scope of activities associated with development and administration of integrated People Solutions programs / initiatives.
  • Supports employee engagement and wellness programs at the local market and regional level.
  • Ensures the application of People Solutions’ programs and employee lifecycle activities, such as:
  • Recruiting and staffing
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Salary and benefits administration
  • Leaves of absence, modified work assignments and the interactive process
  • Performance management
  • Talent management
  • Coaching and development
  • Safety programs
  • Affirmative Action and Inclusion & Diversity programs
  • Unemployment claim process
  • Drives efforts to research and advise on service-related issues and recommends specific initiatives, program changes and other activities to improve service outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Drives local acceptance and support for global People Solutions strategies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Develops and recommends program and process improvements for region programs and partners with HRBPs to recommend and implement program/policy changes and process improvements for functional and enterprise programs.
  • Supports team efforts to ensure uniform, consistent, and fair application of People Solutions programs and policies.
  • Interprets and administers human resource policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations, sometimes consulting management or compliance for guidance.
  • May provide supplemental or backup support for Employee Experience HRBPs as needed.
  • Prepares data from human resource information systems for information reporting and management decision making.
  • Communicates concerns, anticipated issues, and recommendations to more senior team members and management.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum

  • BA/BS degree in related discipline (i.e., Human Resources, Business, etc.) with 4 years of experience required in a related field (i.e., Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, etc.); OR 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent consultative, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
  • Able to work both remotely and in-person within the Phoenix market locations.

Preferred

  • MS degree + 2 years of experience preferred in related discipline (i.e., Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, etc.); OR Ph.D. + up to 1 years of experience in related discipline (i.e., Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, etc.).
  • Prefer PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Workday experience.
