All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Mon thru Fri, 40 hrs per week **Location:** **600 HOSPITAL DRIVE, SUITE 10, Clyde, 28721** **The role you’ll contribute:** Perform chemotherapy administration, physician assistance, information gathering, sample collection, patient education, patient follow-up, supply maintenance and consultation. Assists with patient flow in busy oncology clinic. Oversees and delegates to CMAs as appropriate. May work in infusion or clinic setting as directed by manager. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Assists physicians in providing care to patients with oncology and hematology conditions. + Maintains accurate nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, vital signs, responses, and assessment of changes. + Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum supervision + Maintains current knowledge of medications and chemotherapy drugs and correct drug administration while following the Five Medication Rights to reduce medication errors. + Prioritizes care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
