POSITION OBJECTIVE

This job holder will be responsible for translating and transferring of ideas / concepts / designs into in-store communication artworks for stores, window displays, mall displays, etc;. Developing effective & distinct visual designs & layouts for signages & promotions.

DO — Key Responsibilities

1.

Creative Solutions

• Understand the visual merchandising and business needs
• Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
• Innovate ideas / themes in graphical form for various requirements coming from the visual merchandising team
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy
• Create graphics and layouts for promotion danglers, display & product signage, etc
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
• Design proposals and artwork for window kits, guidelines, promotions and training material

2.

Miscellaneous

• Research and keep abreast of the latest designs and graphic flows
• Coordinate and assist in the execution of large format printing including colour and profile management
• Oversee the printing needs
• Maintain large format printers (if applicable)
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools and technologies in Graphic Design
