Jr. Sales Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to embark on their professional journey within the Sales Engineering Partner Support Group, immersing themselves in Sangoma's expansive array of products and solutions. Their initial focus involves aiding partners in various pre-and post-sales activities, including minor adjustments, fostering a comprehensive grasp of the systems. Junior SEs may also contribute to presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions, collaborating in meetings with RCMs, partners, and clients. Junior SEs undertake additional responsibilities as they hone their skills, preparing them for advancement into Sales Engineer roles.

Your Role: 

  • Address client inquiries (channel partners and/or customers) by diagnosing issues, conducting research, and offering corrective guidance.
  • Provide partners with concise training sessions and demonstrations.
  • Enhance partner retention by creating and upkeep documentation to refine technical training processes.
  • Contribute to developing client training initiatives by identifying learning gaps and suggesting instructional improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through continuous education.
  • Assist Senior Sales Engineers in delegated tasks.
  • Embrace ongoing training initiatives.

Your Role:

  • Two-plus years of basic networking design, practices, and principles.
  • Familiarity with UCaaS systems and solutions.
  • Equipped home office with reliable broadband internet access.
  • Capability to thrive in a remote work setting with minimal oversight.
  • Availability for travel.
  • Ability to swiftly grasp multiple solutions and products.
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytical prowess, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen, business understanding, and adeptness in cultivating relationships with partners and clients.
  • Collaborative mindset and practical teamwork skills.
  • Innovative thinking and adaptability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at articulating product value.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desired Experience:

  • Understanding of Contact Center solutions.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security Solutions/Principles.
  • Familiarity with Internet Access Solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce.
