Summary

The restaurant server works under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director. The primary responsibilities include serving guests, taking orders, delivering food and drinks to guests in a professional manner and providing exceptional service to your guests.

  • Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
  • Clear and reset tables
  • When complete, retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, and deliver to guests along with appropriate condiments
  • Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations and etiquette
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items
  • Assist busser with clearing and setting tables
  • Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, services, events in the area, and points of

interest

  • All other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a restaurant food runner role
  • Hotel experience preferred
