Summary
The restaurant server works under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director. The primary responsibilities include serving guests, taking orders, delivering food and drinks to guests in a professional manner and providing exceptional service to your guests.
- Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables
- When complete, retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, and deliver to guests along with appropriate condiments
- Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations and etiquette
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items
- Assist busser with clearing and setting tables
- Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, services, events in the area, and points of
interest
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant food runner role
- Hotel experience preferred
