SailPoint, the industry leader in Identity Security, is looking for an Identity professional to contribute to the company’s internal corporate Identity program. The Identity Security Administrator will be a key team member in our growing and impactful organization as SailPoint continues to scale globally as the industry leader in Identity Governance. This position will report directly to Identity & Access Leadership, and will support SailPoint’s internal Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) systems and operations. This includes the use of SailPoint’s own Identity Governance solutions to support activities such as account provisioning, role provisioning, role modeling, access certifications, and identity federation - all while leveraging SailPoint’s exciting new AI-based predictive identity capabilities.

As the Identity Security Administrator, you will ensure that SailPoint’s internal users have the best experience possible as consumers of the company’s internal IT applications and services. Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute SailPoint’s identity security strategy
  • Conduct analysis, generate designs and documentation, and build / implement effective access controls
  • Onboard new enterprise resources and applications per our IAM standards, strengthening their adoption and enhancing their usability
  • Simplify and streamline user access provisioning and certification processes
  • Advocate and implement SSO experiences (authentication/authorization) wherever it’s possible
  • Support IAM infrastructure operations, including troubleshooting user issues, implementing changes and performing system administration
  • Recommend and implement modifications that will enhance system usability & reliability while analyzing all aspects of the existing infrastructure

Essential Skills

  • BS Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently, describe highly technical topics in a non-technical manner, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-level executives
  • Ability to produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and business processes
  • Basic understanding of QA methodology including usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans
  • Must be a team player, with robust troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery model and agile development processes
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SailPoint's identity management platform
  • Solid understanding of IAM & IGA concepts, associated controls and terminology, including:
  • Role mining, engineering, and management
  • User credentials, password policies & synchronization
  • User account and password recovery
  • User account & access provisioning, lifecycle management and governance including campaigns, access reviews, entitlements, campaign monitoring, and remediation
  • Working knowledge of current SSO and security concepts, standards and protocols
  • Experience administering Active Directory (AD DS), Azure Active Directory (AAD) and/or other directory services

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using and implementing SailPoint’s Identity Security Cloud product
  • Knowledge of APIs and scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with JSON, XML, SOAP and REST web-services
  • Experience with user administration in cloud ERP systems (e.g. Workday)
  • Experience with protocol-based Single Sign-On (SSO), and Strong / Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), such as: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO2, Duo and Yubikey
  • Password replay, identity federation, federated access management, as well as multi-factor and strong authentication methodology
  • Experience administering & using Office 365, AWS & G-Suite Business
