One of our Remote Mining Villages in Cloncurry QLD has this unique opportunity for people who would like to earn extra cash . This is a Bus in bus out position from Mt Isa on a Casual Base. You will only work 2 Days a week on site, then you will travel back home.This is a great stepping stone to the remote hospitality sector, if you are a local in Mt Isa or relocating to Mt Isa. What does a day in the life of a Housekeeper look like?
- Change linen and make beds appropriately
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets
- Vacuum carpets
- Dusting
- Restock any necessary room items
- Report any maintenance needs to Management
- Demonstrate a strong safety culture aligned with the Cater Care Safety Commitments
To get a start you’ll need:
- Ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- First rate safety focused attitude
- If you have previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning operations, it would be a benefit, but is not essential, as Cater Care will train you on the job
