The Opportunity 

This position works in the region Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH) in the division Vascular - Abbott Medical GmbH. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive products for treatment of vascular disease. 

Your Tasks:

  • Accountable for the Endovascular Business Unit, including Business Planning and accountable for profitable growth
  • Accountable for the coordination and leadership of all activities of own staff as well as the attainment of projected goals
  • Formulation, evaluation and implementation of sales targets and selling strategies in conjunction with the generał goals of the company and generał company policy
  • Consistent planning and follow-up of specified goals and budget
  • Cultivation and intensification of customer relations with key accounts and opinion leaders
  • Coaching and ongoing development of own staff
  • Collabration with the local Management Team, the European Headquarter and other interna! interfaces
  • Adherence to company policy and directives on processes and procedures

Your Qualification:

  • Diploma in medical technology studies or in business administration
  • ln-depth knowledge in the Endovascular and Periphery Business Unit
  • ln-depth knowledge of the German market and health care system
  • Excellent employee leadership qualities as well as the capability to motivate and inspire others
  • Long-term experience (at least 5 years) in sales management
  • Markedly focused on results and performance
  • Excellent communicationsskills
  • Strong client focus as well as strategie approaches and actions
  • Fluent in German and English language (written and spoken)
  • Long-term career experience in the cardiovascular industry, preferably in distribution and/or marketing
